VegasNow Gates of Olympus: three editions, figures and bonus rules
Our pokies lobby carries three Pragmatic Play editions of Gates of Olympus: the original, Gates of Olympus 1000 and Gates of Olympus Super Scatter. Below you will find the figures the studio publishes for each one, the multiplier and Super Scatter arithmetic worked in Australian dollars, and the account rules that decide how Olympus spins count toward a bonus, the A$8 stake limit and your loyalty points. Play is for adults aged 18 and over.

Olympus at VegasNow: edition facts and account rules
The short answer: three separate games share the Olympus name in our lobby, and only two have figures we can quote from Pragmatic Play. The account rules below apply to all three alike.
| Published item | Gates of Olympus | Gates of Olympus 1000 | Gates of Olympus Super Scatter |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio | Pragmatic Play | Pragmatic Play | Pragmatic Play |
| Reels and wins | Six reels, no paylines, 8 to 30 matching symbols pay wherever they land | Read the in-game info panel | Tumbling layout |
| Multiplier symbols | Worth up to 500× each, values are added | Read the in-game info panel | Worth up to 500× |
| Feature | Four or more scatters give 15 free spins | Read the in-game info panel | 1, 2, 3 or 4 Super Scatters during the feature pay 100× up to 50,000× the stake |
| Top published win | Not on the provider page | Read the in-game info panel | 50,000× |
| Return to player | 96.50% | Read the in-game info panel | Not on the provider page |
| Account rule | How it applies to any Olympus edition |
|---|---|
| Share of each stake counted toward bonus wagering | Counted in full at the slot rate, except for any edition the terms single out |
| Highest stake while a bonus is active | A$8 per spin |
| Loyalty earning | 1 redeemable point and 1 status point for each A$25 of real-money stakes |
| Ceiling on deposit-bonus winnings | A$5,000 per offer |
| Where you play | Desktop or phone browser; there is no native app |
Where we point you to the info panel, the studio's public pages do not give the figure, so the game itself is the source. Volatility for all three editions sits there too. Our pokies overview explains why we never lift a number from one edition and print it against another.
Finding the edition you mean in the VegasNow search
Type "Gates of Olympus" into the lobby search and all three cards come up together. The thumbnails share the Zeus artwork and look almost identical on a phone, so the real task is opening the one you meant.
Use this order every time:
- Search by name or by studio. Searching "Pragmatic Play" lists the three Olympus cards beside the studio's other games, which helps if you only half remember a title.
- Read the loading screen. The edition name shown as the game opens is the one whose rules apply. The card artwork is only a picture.
- Open the info panel before the first spin. It holds the paytable, the feature rules and any figure we mark as not published.
- Save the edition you prefer. The Saved games list keeps it one tap away, so you are less likely to open its sibling by mistake next time.
Gates of Olympus 1000 deserves a specific warning. It is its own game, not a skin of the original, so the 96.50% and the 15 free spins quoted on this page do not transfer to it. The same naming trap applies to the Novomatic titles covered on our Book of Ra page, where three editions also sit side by side.
Pay-anywhere wins and tumbles in the original edition
The original edition has no paylines. You win when eight or more of the same symbol appear anywhere across the six reels, and the published pay structure runs from eight symbols up to thirty. Bigger clusters pay more; where the symbols sit makes no difference.
What a tumble does
When a spin wins, the winning symbols are cleared and replacements fall in from the top. If those new symbols complete another win, the same thing happens again. The sequence stops on the first drop that produces nothing. So one paid spin can give you a single win, a chain of several, or nothing at all.
Why tumbles matter for your account
Only the opening spin of a chain costs money. Say you stake A$1.60 and the reels tumble three times. You paid A$1.60, the wagering counter moves by A$1.60, and your loyalty tally counts A$1.60 of real-money stakes. The three extra drops cost nothing and add nothing to either total.
| Event in one paid spin | Cost to you | Added to wagering |
|---|---|---|
| Opening spin at A$1.60 | A$1.60 | A$1.60 |
| First, second and third tumble | Nothing | Nothing |
| Whole chain | A$1.60 | A$1.60 |
Adding Olympus multipliers: three new worked sums
Multiplier symbols in Gates of Olympus carry values of up to 500×. When two or more are on the reels, their values are added together, and the single total is applied to the win. They do not multiply one another, which is the most common misreading we hear about.
| Multipliers showing | Combined value | Win before multipliers | Win after |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3× + 8× + 15× | 26× | A$2.40 | A$62.40 |
| 50× + 250× | 300× | A$1.10 | A$330.00 |
| 4× on its own | 4× | A$0.75 | A$3.00 |
The first row shows why addition matters. If 3, 8 and 15 were multiplied together they would make 360×; added, they make 26×.
These values are our own illustrations. The game decides which multipliers appear and how often, and Pragmatic Play does not publish a frequency. Nor do the examples change the published return to player of 96.50% for the original edition. That figure is an average over an enormous number of spins. It does not mean an A$100 session finishes at A$96.50, and one session that lands a 300× total and another that never sees a multiplier are both consistent with it.
Free spins from four scatters: what the feature costs you
Four or more scatter symbols in the original edition award 15 free spins. You pay nothing extra for them: the spin that landed the scatters already covered the cost. Pragmatic Play does not publish how often the feature arrives, so any claim that it is "due" after a dry spell has no basis.
Because those 15 spins carry no new stake, they do not move the wagering counter. Only a spin you pay for does.
Game feature spins and our welcome spins are different things
The word "free spins" covers two unrelated items on a VegasNow account, and mixing them up causes most of the questions we get about Olympus and bonuses.
| Question | Olympus feature spins | VegasNow welcome free spins |
|---|---|---|
| Where they come from | Four or more scatters in the original edition | The four deposit stages: 200, 50, 50 and 200 spins |
| How they are released | Straight away, inside the game | Once the qualifying deposit has been played through one time |
| Wagering on what they win | None of their own; the result belongs to the paid spin | 40× on the spin winnings |
| Cap on what they win | The game's own rules | A$300 ceiling on welcome spin winnings |
What each Super Scatter award pays at four stake sizes
In Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, the number of Super Scatter symbols on the reels during the feature sets a fixed award. One pays 100× the stake, two pay 500×, three pay 5,000× and four pay 50,000×. The 50,000× award is also the published top win of that edition, so nothing sits above the fourth row. The edition keeps the tumbling layout and the multiplier symbols worth up to 500×.
| Super Scatters | Award | At A$0.40 | At A$1.20 | At A$4 | At A$8 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100× | A$40 | A$120 | A$400 | A$800 |
| 2 | 500× | A$200 | A$600 | A$2,000 | A$4,000 |
| 3 | 5,000× | A$2,000 | A$6,000 | A$20,000 | A$40,000 |
| 4 | 50,000× | A$20,000 | A$60,000 | A$200,000 | A$400,000 |
Each cell is simply stake times award, not a forecast; the studio publishes no frequency for any award, and four Super Scatters is the rarest result in the game.
Where the A$5,000 bonus ceiling takes over
With a deposit bonus active, what you can keep from that bonus is capped at A$5,000 per offer. Read against the table, that gives three plain rules:
- Two Super Scatters can never pass the ceiling while a bonus runs. At the A$8 maximum the award is A$4,000, and the stake that would turn 500× into A$5,000 is A$10, above the limit.
- Three Super Scatters reach the ceiling at exactly A$1 a spin and pass it at any higher stake.
- Four Super Scatters equal the ceiling at A$0.10 a spin and pass it at every stake above that.
Play without a bonus and the A$5,000 offer ceiling is out of the picture, but each payment method's range and the daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal caps on the account still apply, and big balances can be split into instalments. See our withdrawals page for the range of each route.
An A$140 VegasNow welcome deposit cleared on Olympus
Here is the first welcome stage worked through on an Olympus edition that counts at the full slot rate. Every number follows the general bonus terms of 26 February 2024.
- First deposit: A$140, which clears both the A$20 offer floor and the A$30 floor for card or MiFinity.
- 150% match: A$210 bonus, well under the A$1,500 stage ceiling.
- Requirement: 40 × A$210 = A$8,400 of qualifying wagering, within 7 days.
- The 200 first-stage free spins are released once the A$140 deposit has been wagered one time.
| Stake per paid spin | Paid spins to reach A$8,400 | Spins per day across 7 days |
|---|---|---|
| A$1 | 8,400 | 1,200 |
| A$2 | 4,200 | 600 |
| A$4 | 2,100 | 300 |
| A$8, the maximum with a bonus | 1,050 | 150 |
For comparison, the same A$8,400 needs A$33,600 of roulette at 25%, A$84,000 of blackjack or game shows at 10%, and can never be met on baccarat at 0%.
Four conditions that run alongside the arithmetic
- Spin winnings carry their own target. If the 200 spins return A$36, that A$36 needs 40 × A$36 = A$1,440 of wagering, and the A$300 ceiling on welcome spin winnings still applies.
- One bonus at a time. The second stage (100% up to A$2,000 plus 50 spins, code VEGAS2) waits until the first is cleared or expires. VEGAS3 and VEGAS4 follow the same rule.
- The deposit rule is separate. Under our account terms each deposit has to be staked three times over before money linked to it can leave the account, so the A$140 needs A$420 of stakes whether or not you take the bonus.
- You may say no. Turning the bonus down is allowed under the general terms if its conditions do not fit your play.
The full four-stage package and its caps are on the welcome bonus page.
Bet-selector habits for the A$8 limit during a VegasNow bonus
While any bonus is active on your account, the highest stake allowed is A$8 per spin. That covers the welcome stages, reloads from the promotions page and bonuses bought with loyalty points.
Olympus makes the limit easy to forget, because a tumble chain or a hefty multiplier total can lift a modest stake into a big result, and the urge afterwards is to raise the bet. These habits keep you inside the rule:
Set the stake before the first spin
Open the bet selector, choose A$8 or less, and confirm the figure on screen before you press spin.
Check again after switching editions
Moving from the original to Super Scatter opens a different game, which may not start at the stake you used a minute ago.
Read the total cost per spin
If an edition offers any option that raises what each spin costs, judge the limit on that total, not on the base stake.
Leave the stake alone after a big win
Fix the session stake in advance and keep it until the bonus is cleared, expired or declined.
There is no upside in pushing past A$8 anyway: at that stake three Super Scatters already pay A$40,000, eight times the A$5,000 offer ceiling.
What an Olympus session adds to your VegasNow points balance
All three Olympus editions earn at the slot rate: 1 redeemable point and 1 status point for every A$25 of real-money stakes. You spend the redeemable kind in the Loyalty Store, while the status kind decides which of the seven Las Vegas-themed levels you sit on.
| Real-money Olympus stakes per week | Points per week | Weeks to 200 points | Weeks to 600 status points |
|---|---|---|---|
| A$250 | 10 | 20 | 60 |
| A$625 | 25 | 8 | 24 |
| A$1,000 | 40 | 5 | 15 |
Taking the middle row: eight weeks at A$625 is A$5,000 of stakes and 200 points, the minimum exchange, worth a A$5 bonus while you sit on Golden Glimmer. That A$5 then carries 40× wagering, so it needs A$200 of qualifying play before it can be withdrawn. Twenty-four weeks at the same pace is A$15,000 of stakes and 600 status points, the published threshold for Golden Glimmer II.
Saving pays a little better than spending early. At Golden Glimmer, ten lots of 200 points give A$50, while 2,000 points saved and exchanged together give A$60. Climbing improves the rate again: members on Parisian Palace Las Vegas get A$20 for 750 points, and at Bella Vista a block of 100,000 points converts into A$5,000.
The table measures stakes, not losses: the points are the same whether the week ends up or down. Our loyalty and VIP page lists the full ladder and explains the Sin City VIP Lounge.
Olympus in Safari or Chrome: the Home Screen route
All three editions load in a phone browser. We have no verified listing on either app store and no APK, so any download offered elsewhere is not ours.
For one-tap access from your phone:
- iPhone or iPad: in Safari, use the Share button and pick Add to Home Screen; keeping Open as Web App on gives a full-screen view.
- Android: in Chrome, the More menu holds Install or create a shortcut.
Your login is the one you use on a computer, and every account rule comes with it. A stake chosen on a phone is held to the same A$8 limit while a bonus is active, and on a small screen the bet selector is easy to nudge, so glance at it before each session. Step-by-step instructions are on our mobile page.
Olympus misreadings that reach the VegasNow help desk
Most Olympus questions we answer trace back to one of these. Each line gives the misreading, then the correct position.
- "All three editions return 96.50%." That figure is published for the original only. Check the info panel of the 1000 and Super Scatter editions.
- "Two multipliers multiply." They add. 50× and 250× make 300×, not 12,500×.
- "A long tumble chain clears more wagering." The counter moves by the paid stake once per spin, however many drops follow.
- "Feature spins help clear my bonus." They carry no stake, so they add nothing to the requirement.
- "A big win means I can raise the bet." Not while a bonus is active. The ceiling stays at A$8 per spin.
- "A 5,000× award during a bonus is mine in full." What a deposit bonus lets you keep stops at A$5,000 per offer.
- "I can claim VEGAS2 straight away." Stages queue: the next one starts only after the current bonus ends.
Limits, licence and support lines for VegasNow Olympus players
Every Olympus edition runs on chance. A chain that stops early, or forty spins without a multiplier, does not mean a win is close, and raising the stake to chase money already lost is the habit to avoid.
Put a deposit limit on your VegasNow account before you play rather than after a rough night; self-exclusion is in the same account settings when a longer break is needed. For confidential help, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. BetStop covers Australian-licensed wagering providers, so for this account use the exclusion tool we provide. Each tool is explained on our responsible gambling page.

Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: your questions answered
Are the three Gates of Olympus editions the same game?
No. The original, Gates of Olympus 1000 and Gates of Olympus Super Scatter are separate Pragmatic Play games with separate rules. The loading screen tells you which one you have opened.
What RTP does Pragmatic Play publish for Gates of Olympus?
96.50% for the original edition. It is an average across a vast number of spins rather than a session prediction, and it does not carry over to the 1000 or Super Scatter editions.
Are Olympus multiplier values multiplied together?
No, they add. Multipliers of 3×, 8× and 15× give a combined 26×, so a A$2.40 win becomes A$62.40.
What is the biggest published Super Scatter award?
Its published top win is 50,000× the stake, the award for four Super Scatters in the feature. At A$0.40 a spin that is A$20,000. With a deposit bonus active, the A$5,000 per offer ceiling limits what you keep from that bonus.
Does Gates of Olympus count in full toward VegasNow bonus wagering?
Slots count 100% under our general bonus terms, with listed exceptions. If the edition you play is not on that list, every dollar of paid stakes counts toward the 40× requirement.
What is the highest stake allowed on Olympus with a bonus active?
A$8 per spin on all three editions, until no bonus remains on your account.
How many loyalty points does Gates of Olympus earn?
Each A$25 of real-money stakes earns one redeemable and one status point. So A$5,000 of stakes brings 200 points, which you can swap for a A$5 bonus on Golden Glimmer.
Is there a Gates of Olympus app at VegasNow?
No native app or APK exists. Save the site to your Home Screen from Safari or Chrome and the lobby opens from an icon, much like an app.
