How we source, check and correct VegasNow pages
Every figure on VegasNow Australia should trace back to a document you can open yourself. This policy explains which source we use for which kind of claim, how pages are drafted and updated, and how to report a mistake to support@vegasnow.com.

Which VegasNow source answers which question
Each type of claim has one primary source, and that source wins if anything else disagrees with it.
| Type of claim | Primary source | If versions differ |
|---|---|---|
| Licence holder, status, approved domains | The regulator's validator entry for OGL/2024/164/0246 | The regulator outranks every page, ours included |
| Welcome stages, codes, wagering, caps | Our promotions page and bonus terms (version of 26 February 2024) | Your account's version applies |
| Deposit and withdrawal limits | AU cashier tables on vegasnow.com | We print both figures and name each document |
| Own-name payments, 3× deposit turnover and other account rules | Account terms, version 2.3 of 20 January 2024 | Your account's version applies |
| Game features, RTP, volatility | The studio's game page and the in-game panel | We name the exact edition |
Third-party listings and code sites never stand in for these documents. They date quickly.
From research to a published VegasNow page
Research
We gather the relevant VegasNow pages, the licence record and provider material, keeping each link beside the claim it supports.
Drafting
AI tools help organise the material into a first draft, which is a starting point, not a source.
Source check
Each statement is compared with its retained source; anything contradicted or unsupported is rewritten or cut.
Site check
Links, layouts on different screens and structured data are checked before publication.
Our pages describe published terms and the screens visible before personal details are entered. They do not report a registration, deposit, wager or withdrawal made for the article, and a processing statement in our terms is not a measured result.
How VegasNow pages label facts, examples and gaps
You should always be able to tell a documented fact from an illustration. Five rules:
- Facts carry scope. "Card deposits up to A$10,000" is tied to the AU deposit table, not offered as a rule for every country.
- Examples show their arithmetic. An A$80 first deposit at 150% adds A$120 in bonus funds, and 40× of A$120 is A$4,800 of wagering within 7 days. Example bets stay at or under the A$8 cap.
- Gaps are named. Only some of the nine weekly promotions publish full headline terms, and we say so rather than fill the blanks.
- No unsupported judgements. Ratings, testimonials and first-person play stories need evidence, so our pages carry none.
- Domains stay distinct. An approved domain on the validator is not the same as another site using the VegasNow name.
Updates, document dates and conflicting VegasNow terms
A page's update date moves only for a change in substance, not for a typo or a layout tweak. When a term changes, the page is revised and re-dated.
Document dates stay visible beside the facts they support. A page revised this month can still quote account terms from January 2024, and the newer page date does not make that clause new.
Where our documents disagree, we show both readings:
- the account terms snapshot behind our withdrawals page sets dormancy at 120 days without activity, while a separate AU document gives 12 months;
- the Cashtocode row reads A$25 to A$400, while the same table's introduction says A$30.
Either way, confirm the version inside your account before relying on a figure.
Reporting a correction to VegasNow
Email support@vegasnow.com and say the message concerns page content. Give us:
- the page URL;
- the wording or table row you believe is wrong;
- evidence for the fix, such as a dated terms page or the licence validator.
We test the report against that evidence. If it holds, the page is corrected and re-dated. Account requests about balances, verification, bonuses or payments are handled separately through live chat or support. Leave passwords, login codes, ID scans and card numbers out of any correction.
Our pages are written by Samuel Thomas, whose profile sets out his method.
Safer play in everything VegasNow publishes
Every page is written for adults 18 and over. Where money comes up, we point to the deposit limits and self-exclusion settings in your account and to Gambling Help Online, which answers 1800 858 858 with free, confidential counselling. For Australian-licensed wagering providers, BetStop is the national register for self-exclusion. Our responsible gambling page covers each option.
VegasNow editorial standards: your questions
Who writes the pages on VegasNow Australia?
Samuel Thomas, an iGaming writer. His profile explains how he checks sources.
Are AI tools used to write your pages?
They help organise research and draft text. Each fact is then checked against its source before publication, and unsupported statements are removed.
Why does a recently updated page quote a 2024 date?
That is the date printed on the document being quoted, such as the bonus terms of February 2024. Page dates and document dates measure different things.
Can you correct another website that uses the VegasNow name?
No. We can only correct pages on this site. To judge another site, compare its address with the domain list on the regulator's validator.
