Crazy Time at VegasNow: the wheel, the bets and the wagering

Crazy Time is Evolution's presenter-led money wheel, found in the live section of the VegasNow lobby. A single stop decides each round, four bonus games sit on the wheel, and Top Slot can attach a multiplier of up to 50× to one spot. Here is how a round runs, what the published figures mean in dollars and how Crazy Time stakes count toward a bonus and loyalty points.

The Crazy Time facts VegasNow can confirm, with sources

In brief: one wheel of 54 segments, four bonus games, a Top Slot multiplier of up to 50×, a top published bonus payout of 20,000× and a return-to-player range from 94.41% to 96.08%. On our side, Crazy Time earns one tenth credit toward bonus wagering, and bets stop at A$8 while a bonus is live.

Some things are left out deliberately: the values printed on the number segments, how many of each segment the wheel carries, stake limits and the play of each bonus game. We have no verified figure for those on this page, and the game's own help screen shows them once you open it from our live casino lobby.

A Crazy Time round in order, from betting window to result

Every round follows the same four steps, and a single stop of the wheel decides it.

Chips on the grid

While betting is open, put chips on any mix of spots: there is one per number on the wheel and one per bonus game. Each spot is its own bet with its own stake.

Top Slot fires

Top Slot then pins a multiplier of up to 50× to one bet spot for this round only. It has no effect unless the wheel later stops on that same spot.

The presenter spins

Where the pointer settles decides the round. A number pays the chips placed on that number, and every other chip on the grid loses.

A bonus round, sometimes

When the stop is a bonus game, only players holding chips on that bonus spot go through. The bonus result is applied to that stake, and everything else on the grid loses.

Step three carries the key fact: one segment wins per round, never two. Backing more spots makes a round cost more without adding a second winner. Cover the whole grid and one stake can come back while all the others are spent. To keep things simple, back a single spot; if you do spread chips, add up the round total before the countdown ends.

Number spots, bonus spots and the Top Slot multiplier

The grid has two kinds of spot, and they pay in different ways. Top Slot sits over both.

Number spots

They win when the wheel stops on that number. The payout follows the odds the grid shows for that spot, and a Top Slot multiplier sitting on it applies to the result.

Bonus spots

A chip here buys entry to Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko or Crazy Time if the wheel lands on that game. The amount is settled inside the bonus round. Crazy Time has the largest published ceiling: 20,000× the stake.

Top Slot

A multiplier, not money. It attaches to one spot each round and is worth nothing unless the wheel stops there and you have chips on it.

Most confusion starts with the multiplier. Say Top Slot marks Coin Flip and your A$1 is on Cash Hunt. The wheel lands on Coin Flip, your chip loses, and the multiplier was never yours, because it sat on a spot you had not backed. Now reverse it: your A$1 is on Coin Flip, the multiplier is there too, and the wheel stops on a number. The A$1 goes, and the multiplier disappears with it. It only adds value to a backed spot that actually wins.

Reading Evolution's 94.41% to 96.08% RTP range

Return to player is an average over an enormous number of rounds, and Evolution publishes Crazy Time's as a range instead of one number. The spread tells you the average differs depending on how you bet across the wheel. It does not tell you how any session will go.

Flip the range around and you get the share the game keeps on average over the very long run: 3.92% at the high-RTP end and 5.59% at the low end. Put in dollars, every A$100 staked leaves an average of A$3.92 to A$5.59 with the game over the long run. That figure is useful for one sum on this page, the theoretical cost of clearing a bonus on the wheel, which appears further down in the long-road section.

Two things the range never does. It does not make a spot due after a dry spell, because each spin stands alone, and a results history only records what has already happened. Nor does it trim a wagering requirement, since the counter is fed by stakes rather than by returns.

Three worked rounds with the 20,000× and 50× figures

Ceilings are worth understanding so you read them correctly, not so you plan around them. These three rounds use fresh numbers.

Round one: the ceiling meets the cash-out cap

You have A$2 on the Crazy Time spot, the wheel stops there and the bonus reaches its published maximum of 20,000×. On paper that is A$40,000. If the round was played as part of an active deposit bonus, though, the offer's A$5,000 cap on winnings is the figure that really limits you. With no bonus involved that cap falls away, although our normal withdrawal limits and instalment rules still apply to large sums. Either way, nothing raises the odds of the ceiling on any given spin.

Round two: four bonus spots, one stop

You place A$1.50 on every bonus spot, A$6 a round. The wheel stops on a number and the full A$6 is lost. Next round it lands on Pachinko: your A$1.50 on Pachinko goes into the bonus, and the remaining A$4.50 is lost. However the wheel falls, at most one of the four can pay.

Round three: your number wins, the multiplier was elsewhere

You hold A$3 on one number. Top Slot marks a different spot, then the wheel stops on your number. Your A$3 is paid at that number's standard odds with no multiplier, because the multiplier went to a spot you were not on.

Covering several spots without breaking the VegasNow A$8 limit

With a bonus live, no bet may go over A$8. On a grid with many spots, the cautious approach is to keep everything you place in one round at or under A$8, and to ask support if you want a ruling on a particular spread.

A$2 on every bonus spot plus A$1 on a numberA$9No, A$1 overNot a permitted round

Look at the last column. Every permitted spread earns the same 80 cents of credit, because the counter only sees the round total. Spreading chips changes what can win, never how fast a bonus clears.

How VegasNow weighs Crazy Time stakes toward a bonus

Crazy Time is a game show, and game shows earn 10% credit toward bonus wagering under our general bonus terms of 26 February 2024. The full scale reads slots 100% bar listed exceptions, roulette 25%, blackjack 10% and baccarat 0%. Each A$1 on the wheel therefore adds 10 cents to the counter. Because the welcome offer can be used across our casino and live casino, Crazy Time is an eligible game; it is simply a slow one.

Take a first deposit of A$95. The first stage of the welcome package adds a 150% match, so A$142.50 of bonus arrives. Multiply by 40 and A$5,700 of wagering is owed, with seven days to finish it. On the wheel, A$57,000 of stakes is what it takes to generate that much credit.

That is the quickest case the rules permit, since it assumes the A$8 maximum on every round. Three more conditions run alongside. Only one bonus can be live, so the second stage waits its turn. Winnings from each deposit-bonus offer top out at A$5,000. And, bonus or no bonus, a deposit must be played through three times before related withdrawals, which on A$95 is A$285.

Why a live wheel is the long road through a VegasNow requirement

The rate is the main reason. The pace and the house share make it worse.

The rate. At 10%, each maximum A$8 round credits 80 cents. For the A$95 example that makes 7,125 rounds the floor, and at A$4 a round it becomes 14,250, about 2,036 a day.

The pace. Every round has a betting window, a spin and now and then a bonus game, all at the presenter's speed. The seven-day clock does not pause between them.

The cost. Apply the published RTP range to A$57,000 of stakes and the long-run average amount kept by the game falls between about A$2,234 and A$3,186. That is an average over a very long run, not a forecast for your week, yet it is many times the A$142.50 being cleared. Your starting balance of A$237.50 would need to cycle 240 times to supply A$57,000. Compare a pokie at full credit, where the same requirement is A$5,700 of stakes, one tenth of the distance.

The figures point one way. If you want the bonus, clear most of it on pokies at full credit and keep the wheel for play without a target. If Crazy Time is why you are here, our general terms let you decline a bonus, which removes the A$8 limit, the clock and the requirement at once; the three-times deposit rule still applies before a withdrawal. If a bonus is already running, ask support what declining does to its funds first.

Crazy Time and VegasNow loyalty: what is actually published

Real-money play earns points, but the published earning table has no separate line for game shows. It lists pokies at one redeemable and one status point per A$25 wagered, roulette at one per A$100, and blackjack and baccarat at one per A$250. For Crazy Time, the rate that applies is the one your VegasNow account displays, and we will not guess it.

The spending side is public. At Golden Glimmer, the entry level, 200 points buy an A$5 bonus, or 2,000 saved points buy A$60. Further up, Parisian Palace Las Vegas exchanges 750 points for A$20, and Bella Vista turns 100,000 points into A$5,000. Every Loyalty Store bonus carries 40× wagering, and that is where the wheel comes back in.

2,000 saved points at Golden GlimmerA$60A$2,4003,000A$24,000

Cleared on a pokie instead, the A$60 bonus needs A$2,400 of spins. Store bonuses also run on the seven-day clock, so take a large exchange only in a week when you can play it through. Thresholds and the Sin City lounge are on the VIP and loyalty page.

Watching the VegasNow Crazy Time stream on your phone

Crazy Time plays in Safari or Chrome, with the video, betting grid and Top Slot display all inside the browser. We have no native app on the App Store or Google Play and supply no APK; anything sold as a "Crazy Time app" in our name did not come from us.

To launch it like an app, pin the site to your Home Screen. On an iPhone, Safari's Share button leads to Add to Home Screen; keep Open as Web App switched on. On Android, Chrome's menu offers Install or create a shortcut. Your account, balance and cashier stay the same as on a computer, and the mobile app page shows each screen.

A video stream asks more of your connection than a pokie does, so stay on steady Wi-Fi or a strong mobile signal to keep the betting window and the spin in step, and place chips early rather than in the final second. If a round cuts out, note the time and the round reference before you contact support.

Crazy Time misreadings that trip up new players

Most expensive errors on the wheel come from reading a figure the wrong way.

  1. Treating 20,000× as a likely result. It is the published ceiling of one bonus game, not a typical outcome.
  2. Counting a Top Slot multiplier as money. It is only worth something on a backed spot that wins.
  3. Thinking more spots mean more winners. One segment wins per round; extra spots just make the round dearer.
  4. Expecting full wagering credit. Game shows earn a tenth, so A$5,700 owed means A$57,000 on the wheel.
  5. Going above A$8 while a bonus is live. The limit lasts exactly as long as the bonus.
  6. Starting a bonus with no plan to clear it. It runs for seven days and blocks other offers, and declining is allowed.
  7. Withdrawing right after a deposit. Three times the deposit has to be staked first, or the request can be refused or charged a fee.
  8. Believing a wider spread clears faster. An A$8 round credits 80 cents however the chips are arranged on the grid.
  9. Reading the results history as a forecast. Past stops describe the past; the next spin is unaffected.

Keeping the VegasNow game show a game

Crazy Time is built to hold your attention: a presenter, music, a countdown and a new round the moment the last one settles. That rhythm makes it easy to play longer than planned. Set a budget and a finish time before the first spin, and put a deposit limit on your account so both stick.

A simple way to size a session is to divide the budget by your stake per round. A budget of A$70 at A$3.50 a round covers 20 rounds of stakes if nothing comes back; at A$7 a round it covers 10. Decide how many rounds you want first, then set the stake to match. Writing the number down helps, because a fixed count of rounds is far easier to keep to than a vague sense of how the night is going.

VegasNow is run by Just Entertainment B.V., which holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/164/0246, and only adults aged 18 or older may hold an account. Deposit limits and self-exclusion live in your account, and the responsible gambling page explains how to set them. If a losing streak tempts you to cover more spots or lift the stake, treat that as the signal to stop. Crazy Time at VegasNow: quick answers

What RTP does Crazy Time have at VegasNow?

Evolution publishes a range, 94.41% to 96.08%, rather than one figure. It is a long-run average over a very large number of rounds and says nothing certain about a single session.

Can the welcome bonus be played on Crazy Time?

Yes. The package covers casino and live-casino games, so the wheel is eligible. While the bonus runs, bets are capped at A$8, the bonus lasts seven days and each stake earns 10% credit.

What is the biggest Crazy Time payout?

Evolution's published maximum is 20,000× the stake in the Crazy Time bonus, and Top Slot can add up to 50× to one spot per round. Both are ceilings, and winnings from a deposit-bonus offer are capped at A$5,000.

How many segments are on the Crazy Time wheel?

There are 54, made up of number segments and segments for the four bonus games: Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time. Only one segment wins in each round.

What does Top Slot actually do?

Before the spin it attaches a multiplier of up to 50× to one bet spot. It pays nothing by itself; it only matters if the wheel stops on that spot and you have chips there.

Does Crazy Time earn loyalty points?

Points come from real-money play, but the published table gives rates only for pokies, roulette, blackjack and baccarat. Your account shows what applies to Crazy Time. Store exchanges start at 200 points for an A$5 bonus with 40× wagering.

Is there a Crazy Time app for Australian players?

Not a native one, and there is no APK. The game runs in Safari or Chrome, and adding the site to your Home Screen makes it open like an app.
