VegasNow sports betting in Australia: tabs, bets and rules
Your VegasNow account includes a sportsbook as well as the casino, with pre-match, in-play, virtual and esports markets in one place. Here we explain what our Sportsbook Rules and sports promotion pages say about bet types, the A$200 sports welcome deal, deposit turnover, cash-out, stake ceilings and identity checks, with sums you can check yourself. Betting is 18+ only.

VegasNow sports betting: the short answers first
Sports is a tab in the same VegasNow account as the casino, governed by its own Sportsbook Rules. The basics:
| Topic | What applies |
|---|---|
| Sections | Four tabs (Sports, In-Play, Virtual Sports, Esports) and a separate sports Promotions page |
| Bet types | Single, express, system |
| Welcome offer | A 100% match with an A$200 ceiling, under terms of its own |
| Weekly promotion | Lucky Score & Spin (listed as Bet on Sports Weekly), paying free spins |
| Deposit rule | Bet each deposit three times (x3), unless an offer says otherwise |
| Cash-out | Selected markets |
| Stake ceiling | Varies with sport, event and market; may move without warning |
| Checks | Documents verified within up to 30 days; betting reviewed within up to 180 days |
| Licence | Curaçao, OGL/2024/164/0246, shared with the casino |
| Age | 18+ |
One Curaçao licence covers the casino and the sportsbook
The casino and the sportsbook share a single licence. Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/164/0246 belongs to Just Entertainment B.V., Curaçao company 160603, and has been in force since 13 August 2024. You can confirm the holder, status and approved domains on the public validator.
That has two consequences for bettors. Your deposit limits and self-exclusion work across sports and casino alike, because it is one account. And since the licence is issued in Curaçao, BetStop does not reach this account by itself (more on that below). Our licensing page has the full record.
Pre-match, live, virtual and esports markets at VegasNow
Sports sits in the main navigation beside Casino and Live Casino. Inside, there are four areas.
Sports
Fixtures that have not started yet, sorted by sport and league. Use Top leagues or Upcoming to shorten the list.
In-Play
Events in progress. Prices update as play unfolds, so a selection can be knocked back if its odds move before acceptance.
Virtual Sports
Simulated contests generated by software. Results come from the simulation, not from any real match.
Esports
Video-game competitions. Settlement is written game by game; CS2, for example, has rules for a disconnected player or a retiring team.
Roughly 40 sports have their own settlement section in the Sportsbook Rules. Among them are the codes Australians follow most: AFL (listed as Australian Rules), both rugby codes, cricket, tennis, basketball, football, golf, netball, combat sports, motor racing, darts and snooker. Horse and greyhound racing have a racing section of their own. A written settlement section is not a promise of open markets on a particular day; the tab shows what is up.
Reading a VegasNow ticket: one leg, every leg or some legs
Three bet names appear in our rules. Single and system mean what an Australian punter expects; express is what most bookmakers here call a multi.
| Name in our rules | Everyday name | When it pays |
|---|---|---|
| Single | Single or straight bet | One pick; a win pays stake × odds |
| Express | Multi or parlay | Every leg must win; the odds multiply |
| System | Combination bet | Your picks are split into smaller multis, so a loss on one leg need not sink the lot |
- Related legs are out. Two markets from one match, or two bets on one player within a tournament, cannot sit together on an express or system ticket. If such a ticket is accepted anyway, you get the stake back.
- Group betting is out. Repeated bets on identical outcomes by one customer or by connected customers can be reviewed.
- A void leg becomes 1. Settled at odds of 1, it simply drops out of the multiplication. That sport's settlement rules decide when a leg is voided.
Worked numbers: A$8 as singles, a double and a system
Every stake here sits at or under A$8, and every return includes the stake.
A single and a double
A$8 on one selection at 1.85 returns 8 × 1.85 = A$14.80, a profit of A$6.80. Add a second leg at 3.10 and the express odds become 1.85 × 3.10 = 5.735, so the same A$8 returns A$45.88 if both win and nothing if either loses. Split the A$8 into two A$4 singles instead and the outcomes spread out: A$7.40 back from the 1.85 leg, A$12.40 from the 3.10 leg, A$19.80 if both land. If the 3.10 leg is voided inside the double, it counts as 1 and the ticket pays like a single: A$14.80.
A system over three selections
Take three picks at 1.50, 2.80 and 1.30 and cover every double, with A$2 on each of the three lines: A$6 in total.
| Result | Lines that pay | Return | Against A$6 staked |
|---|---|---|---|
| All three win | All three doubles | A$8.40 + A$3.90 + A$7.28 = A$19.58 | A$13.58 ahead |
| The 1.30 pick loses | 1.50 × 2.80 = 4.20 | A$8.40 | A$2.40 ahead |
| The 2.80 pick loses | 1.50 × 1.30 = 1.95 | A$3.90 | A$2.10 behind |
| The 1.50 pick loses | 2.80 × 1.30 = 3.64 | A$7.28 | A$1.28 ahead |
| Two or three lose | None | A$0 | A$6 behind |
For comparison, A$6 on the same three picks as one express is priced at 1.50 × 2.80 × 1.30 = 5.460 and returns A$32.76, but one losing pick takes it to zero. The system gives up top-end return for a cushion; check the line count and total stake before you confirm.
What the VegasNow 100% up to A$200 sports offer covers
Sports promotions list the welcome deal as 100% up to A$200, with a “Deposit and Bet now!” button, and the Sports landing page calls it a 100% free bet to the same A$200. A separate set of offer terms governs crediting, qualifying odds and markets, and withdrawal, so open those first.
Reading only the headline, the match follows your deposit up to the ceiling:
| Deposit | Headline match | Note |
|---|---|---|
| A$80 | A$80 | Under the cap |
| A$140 | A$140 | Under the cap |
| A$260 | A$200 | A$60 of the deposit goes unmatched |
None of this touches the casino welcome package (four deposits, A$8,000 and 500 spins at most). Casino bonus money is restricted to casino and live casino play and cannot back a sports bet. Lucky Score & Spin, the weekly sports promotion, hands out free spins for sports betting, but the overview does not set out its full conditions, so read its own terms. Casino offers are on our bonuses page.
The x3 rule: turning a deposit over before you withdraw
Each deposit has to be staked three times before a withdrawal, unless an offer states otherwise (rule 2.2 of the Sportsbook Rules). Settled bets count, winners and losers alike. Cancelled bets, and any bet that ended with your stake handed back, do not. Skip the turnover and the sportsbook may refuse the withdrawal; the casino account terms apply the same threefold rule.
Example: an A$70 MiFinity deposit (the method minimum is A$30) needs A$210 in settled stakes.
| Bets so far | Stake total | Counts toward A$210? |
|---|---|---|
| 20 settled bets at A$6, won or lost | A$120 | Yes |
| 3 voided bets at A$5, stakes returned | A$15 | No |
| 1 open bet at A$8 | A$8 | Not until it settles |
The settled bets leave A$90 to go (A$210 less A$120). When the open A$8 bet settles, that drops to A$82. Cashed out a bet? Ask our support team how it counted.
The cashier is shared with the casino. Deposits: card, MiFinity, Cashtocode, crypto. Withdrawals: bank transfer options, MiFinity, crypto. You will not find PayID, POLi or Neosurf in the Australian cashier. Full verification comes before any payout, and the rules allow a phone check; give a wrong number or miss the call and winnings can be confiscated. Each method's range is listed on our payments and withdrawals pages.
When VegasNow settles early, re-prices or caps a stake
- Cash-out. Available on selected markets, letting you close a bet before the result. Some two-outcome markets are excluded, and a cash-out granted in error can lead to the bet being recalculated.
- Moving prices. When odds shift mid-placement, the slip flags it and may hold the bet until you agree. Switching on “Accept odds change” removes that prompt, which is handy in-play, but you get the price as it stands.
- Stake ceilings. These vary by sport, event and market and may move without warning. Limits can also be placed on an individual account with no reason given.
- Bets struck after the start. If a pre-match bet slips through once the event is under way, it can be voided and settled at odds of 1.
- Final once registered. A bet the system has registered cannot be withdrawn by you.
- Rule updates. Each bet is placed under the rules in force at the time. Updates can arrive without a personal notice, though existing bets stay on their original terms.
The 30-day and 180-day windows in the VegasNow Sportsbook Rules
Under the rules, document checks can take up to 30 days and a review of your betting up to 180 days. Plan for both before a withdrawal matters to you.
Checks may cover identity, credit and video verification, and we can ask where your funds come from, for example through bank statements. Several bettors should not share one IP address, computer or local network; linked accounts can be blocked and their bets cancelled.
Verify early
Send requested documents soon after joining rather than after a big win, so the 30-day clock is not running when you want to cash out.
Keep it in your name
Deposit and withdraw only with methods in your own name, and keep to one account per person.
Mind a shared household
If someone else at your address also holds an account, ask support how the shared-network rule applies before either of you bets.
Keeping a punt affordable, and where to get help
Decide your limits before the first bet, not after a losing run. Sport moves quickly, live markets most of all, and losing is never a reason to stake more on the next one.
- Your VegasNow account: one set of deposit limits and self-exclusion covers sports and casino. Our general terms (v2.3, section 8.4) do not allow deposit limits on crypto deposits, so check with support how your limit handles each method.
- BetStop: the national register lets you exclude yourself from wagering providers licensed in Australia. We operate on a Curaçao licence, so registering there will not shut your VegasNow account; use our self-exclusion as well.
- Gambling Help Online: call 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au for free, confidential counselling, whether the concern is yours or someone else's.
Every tool is gathered on our responsible gambling page. Accounts and bets are for people aged 18 and over.
A pre-bet routine for every VegasNow ticket
- Check the bet type on the slip: single, express or system, and for a system, the number of lines and the total stake.
- Read the settlement rules for the sport, including how a voided leg is treated.
- Make sure no two legs come from the same match, or the same player in one tournament.
- Confirm the odds shown are the odds you mean to take, and whether “Accept odds change” is switched on.
- Know where you stand on the x3 deposit rule before you plan a withdrawal.
- If you took the sports welcome offer, check its terms for qualifying odds and markets.
- Finish verification, so a win is not left waiting on documents.
- Stay inside the budget you set, with limits switched on.
VegasNow sports betting: questions and answers
Does VegasNow have a sportsbook?
Yes. Open the Sports tab in your account for pre-match markets, In-Play, Virtual Sports and Esports. Sports promotions and the Sportsbook Rules have pages of their own, and the login and cashier are shared with the casino.
Which licence covers VegasNow sports betting?
One licence covers both products: Curaçao licence OGL/2024/164/0246, issued to Just Entertainment B.V. Betting is for adults aged 18 and over.
What is an express bet?
It is what most Australian bookmakers call a multi. You combine two or more selections, their odds multiply, and every leg must win; a voided leg drops out at odds of 1.
How is a system bet different from an express?
An express needs every leg to win. A system splits your picks into smaller multis, so one losing leg does not always end the bet: in the example above, A$2 on each double from three picks still returned A$7.56 with one pick lost.
Can I use the casino welcome bonus on sports?
No. Under its terms, casino bonus money is limited to casino and live casino games, so it cannot fund a bet on sport. Sports has a welcome offer of its own.
How big is the sports welcome deal at VegasNow?
A 100% match up to A$200, shown on the sports Promotions page; the Sports landing page words it as a 100% free bet to the same A$200. Separate offer terms set out how it works.
Can I cancel a bet after placing it?
No. A registered bet stays in place. The sportsbook itself can void a pre-match bet that was accepted after the start, settling it at odds of 1.
Does BetStop cover my VegasNow account?
Not on its own. BetStop lets you exclude yourself from wagering providers licensed in Australia, and VegasNow holds a Curaçao licence. To stop betting with us, set self-exclusion in your account or ask our team, in addition to any BetStop registration.
Are AFL and NRL markets available at VegasNow?
Australian Rules and Rugby League both have settlement sections in our rules. Open markets on a given AFL or NRL fixture vary from day to day, so look at the Sports tab for what is up.
